தமிழ் என்ன அருமையான அருமை

“தமிழ்-என் தாய் மொழி

அழியும் மொழியோ என

அச்சப்படச் செய்த மொழி

தமிழை...

காப்பாற்றவொன்றும் நான் தேவையில்லை

கரைசேர்க்கவும் நான் தேவையில்லை

களையெடுக்கவும் நான் தேவையில்லை

அதன்

காற்றோட்டத்தில் கரைந்து போய்

காலபூராவும் காலடியில் கிடந்தால் போதும்

காலன் கூட கண்ணீர்விட்டு

கைகொடுத்து போயிவிடுவான் கண்ணியமாக.

காதுகேலாதவன் கூட கண்ணால்

கண்டு மகிழ்ச்சி கொள்வான்-தமிழ்

பேசும் முகத்தில் ஏற்படுத்தும் முத்துசிதறலை

கண்டு-மேனியில் ஏற்படுத்தும் அதிர்வை உணர்ந்து

நான் கவலை கொண்டேன்-தமிழை

காப்பாற்ற யாருமில்லையோ என்று

அது பதிலுக்கு கவலைபட்டது-தான்

யாரையும் காப்பாற்ற இயலவில்லையே என்று

உடனே தமிழ் அன்னையிடம் செப்பினேன்

உலகமே நீயென உணர்ந்து

பாதி வழியில் உன்னை அறிய

கதியற்று போயிருக்க-என்

காவியம் படைத்து பிழைத்துகொள்ளேனென

காட்டிய வழியில் நடை பயின்றேன்

புது வழிகள் பிறந்து வாழ்க்கை சொக்க

வாழ்த்த நினைத்து வார்த்தையற்று நிக்க

வணங்கிய கையை வளைத்து வரையதுணிகிறேன்

சஞ்ஜிவ் என்ற சாதனையாளனின்

சத்தமற்ற சாதனைகள் !

காணக்கிடைக்க களஞ்சியங்களை

காட்டிக்கொடுக்கும் சோதனைகள்!

கற்பனையிலும் கண்டிடாத

கலைகளின் பெரும் கடைகள்!

மின்னணுவில் மிளிரப்போகும்

மின்மினியின் சில விடைகள்!

பட்டி தொட்டி பாமரனும்

படித்தறிய போதனைகள்

வாழ்த்துக்கும் வருத்தத்திற்கும்

வழிகாட்டும் கொட்டகைகள்!

என....

வாழ்த்துகள் பல கோடி

இளைஞன் ஒருவன்

இளைஞன் ஒருவன்...

    “வெற்றி வேண்டும் வெற்றி வேண்டும்

         வெறியுடன் உழைக்கிறேன்

     வேகத்தையும் விவேகத்தையும் சேர்த்து

         வைத்து உழைக்கிறேன்

     வெற்றி பெற்ற பலமனிதரை பார்த்து

         பார்த்து உழைக்கிறேன்

     வேதனையையும் சோதனையையும் தாண்டி

         தாண்டி உழைக்கிறேன்

     வெள்ளி தங்கம் காசுகளை

         எண்ணாமல் உழைக்கிறேன்

     வேற்றுமையை கலையெடுக்க வேண்டி

         ஓடி உழைக்கிறேன்

     புத்தம்புது பூமிதனை படைத்-

         தெடுக்க உழைக்கிறேன்

     புதுமைகளை புகுத்திவிட பாடி

         ஓடி உழைக்கிறேன்

     பட்டென்று தண்ணீர் பட

         துடித்தெழுந்து பார்க்கிறேன்

     உழைத்ததெல்லாம் கனவினில்தான்-என

         உணர்ந்து வேர்க்கிறேன்

     சட்டென்று அவ்விடத்தில் நான்

         படுத்து தூங்கினேன்

     விட்ட கனவு வாராதா-என

         நினைத்து ஏங்கினேன் ”

     கனவினில் தான் வெற்றியென

         ஒருபோதும் நினையாதே

     கனவினை தான் கண்டுவிட்டு

         உழைப்பதை நீ மறவாதே ”

             இளைஞன் கனவினிலே ஒருவன்

         ஒளியாய் வந்தான்

     மேற்கண்ட வரியை அவனுக்கு

         பதிலாய் தந்தான்

பிரிவின் வலி

மனதிற்குள்ளே வலியொன்னு தெரியுது
வார்த்தை கூட வெளிவர மறுக்குது

பிரிவை பற்றி உதடென்ன சொல்வது

கண்கள் மட்டும் கண்ணிரால பேசுது!!!

நட்பென்ற வார்த்தையிலே துவங்கினோம்!

நாளேல்லாம் பேசிதான் பழகினோம்!

துன்பத்திலும் கைதந்து உதவினோம்!

இனிஎப்படிதான் நாமெல்லாம் விலகுவோம்?

கல்லூரி வாழ்க்கை கண்முன் வந்திநிற்க

மனதின் போக்கை ஞாபங்கள் வென்றுநிற்க

பிரியும் நாள் இன்றுதான் என்றிருக்க

ஆட்டம் பாட்டமென நாள்முழுதும் சென்றிருக்க

முகத்தினிலே புன்னகையை பூக்கவிட்டு…

மனதினிலே அழுகையைதான் தொடரவிட்டு…

பிரிவிலும் சோலைவனமாய் தோன்றிடுவோம்!!!

Love's Harvest

From the Genesis of our created love,
Springs this season of celebration,
Signs and wonders from above,
Brought forth God's Revelation.

Within this, our day, I sow my vows,
The seeds to my remaining life,
Surrendered, here-in, to Beauteous Bride
Now stood before me as my Wife.

Loves olive tree, so rich with fruit,
Shoots forth from soil of hearts divine,
